What a remarkable, courageous woman. Thank you for sharing her incredible work and life story. I do hope that her manuscript can be recovered someday. Her life story puts many of us to shame, I'm sure. I learned about Holodomor only 6 years ago! I have since been compelled to seek out more information and testimony regarding this horrific crime and also about the fear and repression of Stalin's Russia, the GULAG death camps and internal exile, and especially of the day to day struggles, suffering -- and dignity! -- of millions of nameless, faceless, and yet truly unforgettable people of this time in history.
